It's time to start talking about the best places to spend a sunny afternoon sharing with friends. Parc de la Ciutadella is perhaps one of the best places to go to enjoy the sun, the air and the tranquility offered by this unique park.

Parc de la Ciutadella in english “Ciutadella Park” is located in edge of the old town in the district of Ciutat Vella, in the triangle between the station of France, the Arc de Triomphe and the Villa Olímpica.

The Parc host 280.000 mthat includes a zoo, a lake, a large fountain, museums and The Catalan Parliament. The main attractions are the Zoo Barcelona, home to 2,200 individuals from over 315 species in 13.5 hectares. The Zoo was opened to the public on the Festival of the Mercè in 1892, Barcelona's patron saint's day on 24 September, from them until now is one of the favorite places for children and adults.

Today, Parc de la Ciutadella is a very welcoming place, a multicultural meeting place full of magic! It is not uncommon to see people dancing copoeria or a group of friends singing with a guitar “Yesterday” by John Lennon. This park is ideal for all types of outdoors activities and to share with friends, with your lover or just to share with yourself.
