tibidabo churchA couple of days ago, I was on my way from Cadaqués (nice little village in the North of Catalunya - highly recommended) to Barcelona at night. Getting closer and closer to the city, one of the first things I saw, was the beautifully illuminated church of the Tibidabo - one of the main sights of Barcelona. And I made up my mind that my last time up there was way too long ago, so "Hello Tibidabo - I am coming over next weekend!" :) (more...)

L’Aquarium Barcelona

Summer is over.. and we slowly have to think about what to do when there is no sun. I know it's hard to say goodbye to tanning at the beach, Picnics in Parc de la Ciutadella and sitting on terraces while enjoying a Café con Leche in the sun.. buuuut don't drift away in an early autumn depression! I have a nice idea for you: L'Aquarium Barcelona barcelona_aquarium The Aquarium of Barcelona is located directly at the port, right next to the IMax 3D Cinema (btw another possibilty for a rainy autumn day!) and the Maremagnum Shopping  mall (look.. another one and even open on Sundays and bank holidays!!).
